The topic again to start  will be the head wind to lead off the list of excuses. While they have had a handful of good trotters just one hand...have they had anything more then a mediocre pacer?

Swandre, other then the entertainment so called value, 800 clients whether all participant at this point in time, and the displeasure of one past unsatisfied owner what possible factual statements can you make? 5 years in the ability to spend money how see fit. The factual numbers are horrible and yes with over 300 head bought a blind squirrel can find a few good nuts. Say if they had 15 good horses over time that's 5%. Even by industry standards that is really low. So due tell give us your factual side to the stable - entertainment which is a copout. Because down deep he knows he needs results to buy yearlings. If it was about sole entertainment and a step into the doors for a owner go out and buy some really nice claimer that are made and race week after week for entertainment value? Buy a nice 2 yr old after qualifiers for SS or GC. Many ways to go about instead of a 125 plus also rans with a handful of potential.

the industry is trying to right itself after the covid and the cheat scandal
I think it is safe to assume that  the fall sales are going to be trying at best
given the amount of unsold shares currently it will be difficult for all but especially the stable to "buy" anything , might be taking a lot on consignment  next year
june 12 qualifiers are nice but  just the start of a long journey up or down
realistically if you have a horse that earns $100 k at the end of their 3 yr old year you can consider that a success( I understand that depends on what you paid but that aside  100k earners  is a small % )

Well sales will be off and if it's a 25% decrease consignments will gladly take that given the current situation while reaping higher prices the past few years. Most would accept this as a one year blimp on any business front. Whether that is the case no one has that answer. You can bet the stable will be unloading a majority of three year olds that they held over. You can bet the leash will be short on unproven 2 yr olds unless they decide to keep what is paid for and not pursue a large number of 2 year olds. But given the discount be sure they rather try and buy potential to sell then mediocre 2 yr old performance.

As with the current situation of more cases as more testing is being done the propaganda machine is up and stoking the high cases and back to work. While not speaking of new cases and low to few new deaths. But that doesn't fit a agenda. Nor does science saying recently the virus is dying off and has had to mutate itself to stay alive being in the form of a cough or low grade fever. If this is the case over the summer months more people infected more people immune to spread down the road.

Also what doesn't fit the propaganda machine is the super spreaders in the streets for weeks. A month ago it was taboo to be out saying open up we what to go back to work. They were vilified. Mum on the protesters spreading

the worst part is he is getting more and more greedy

as he started to fail he bought more and more bad horses

this years crop is truly disgusting...

again

120 6 to 20k yearlings is only good for amac

40 40 to 50k yearlings would have been much better for the owners and business

i dont mean to kick a guy when he is down but stonebridge symba racing for 3200 this week

even if he wins that doesnt cover the weeks bills

another one he should have taken my offer on

but then he would have only gotten 119 training bills instead of 120
