Harness Racing / Re: Friday Night Meadowlands

The Meadowlands Friday cards are no more than low-grade B tracks horses racing there. Years ago the lowest class they would even consider is $15,000. They had $150,000 claimers and horse were claimed. Now I see a $4,000 claimer win there and even saw 68.5 TM races. It tells where the sport is and is going. A few very wealthy outfits dominate the better races and the lower class gets cheaper and cheaper. Curious what is looks like in 5 years. Sad but so true

looks like they had 9 horses hit the top 3 tonite

Yeah, they conveniently leave that out.

Looks like we need a separate forum to post all the pissing and moaning about AMAC this and AMAC that.

I have never met the guy, never talked to him. But my take is for every disgruntled person there are at least half a dozen that aren't.

He appears to have quite a few that have made money or are making money. I am sure that Tactical Mound's group of owners are all pissed off they paid $27,000 and have won $450,000 to date. She's worth a bunch as a broodmare. Arson has won $250,000 so far, A nice colt who is a level or two below the best. Memoryinimaginati on, Pick Pocket. Aunt Lilly won that Ohio $150,000 race. A good strategy to put her in there. Many of the potential good ones in Ohio were not there and there were like 3 horses in the race that broke, so should the owners who won the $75,000 give the money back because of what the others did.

Jesus Christ, can you find something else to bitch about. If you are going to bitch about the failures, he has then U should also commend him when he does well.  I imagine a good percentage of those who invested and have won races are very happy.  If they have a small percentage and the horses don't do well then they are not out thousands of dollars.

Three Point BC won that stakes race at Dover a few years ago, U don't mention that, from memory, I think he broke a coffin bone and has not been the same since. AMAC cost him that win a week or two back when he interfered with another one on the first turn. So what, U obviously have bet him even though U think he sucks, or you had ownership and didn't win.  He says he has 900 owners, there are probably 90 that are not happy for various reasons.

I don't own any shares and have never tried to buy any shares. I have followed the horses he buys at the sales, and I want to see them do well for the people who own them. This industry needs fresh blood. The more new people get into the game the better.

How about targeting your anger towards trainers who drug horses who don't give a fuck about the welfare of the animals, that seems more important than cherry-picking his horses and his bad drives. He admits he's not a great driver.

No offense but you are delusional thinking Trump is far ahead. As of Friday this is a near tie and if J.D. Vance keeps being the most stupid VP candidate ever he will play a big part in Trump losing in November. What was Trump thinking choosing this idiot?

I'm sure no one cares, but Eric is a 3rd generation driver from a family with thousands of wins!   tmbz1

Some people don't realize it's tough enough to just race at The Meadowlands, let alone win races and with outside posts too!

When drivers like Eric Davis and James Slendorn have driving doubles at the mecca, I say harness racing is done. What an embarrassment.

Maybe some the other drivers should consider retirement if they can't win races!

Do they 'let' these individuals win races at The Meadowlands?

let's see----track master 68.5 classification-1st Slendorn win @ 7/2 ---beat Andy miller @ 1/2, Eric Davis @ 81/1, Todd McCarthy @ 13/1, Neil Glasser [who]? at 19/1 (9 post), David Miller PP8 @ 31/1, Kubi @ 44/1, and Andrew McCarthy @ 4/1 beaten by 30 lengths!

2nd Slendorn win MADC.

track master 71.5 rating--1st Eric Davis win post 7 @ 9/5 over Dunn @ 4/5
David Miller, Andy Miller, Tim Tetrick, Todd McCarthy, and others--Troy Beyer, the young man visiting from down under Carter Dalgety, Carmen Capone, and Yogi!

2nd Eric Davis win----pp7--TROT--track master 77 classification--n/w 3000/4
troy beyer, david miller, Carter Dalgety, Zeron as 8/5 favorite, steve smith, ginsburg, andy miller, and Anibal Borjas (who).

FYI, Lauren Tritton won a race too!
