Is thoroughbred racing thriving?  I see an awful lot of short fields and lack of competitive racing.  I don't believe it's a competitive race when there's 20 lengths between the first horse and the last.

I heard Saratoga had an ALL TIME record opening day handle today.        Thriving, yes?

You can thank the mhha for the closing of Scarborough but don't fear there's a new track coming 😂

  • dougie: I don't really know a lot about Mike P. but I support his cause 100%. I admire his humanity toward these abused animals. I now know that there is a very minute number of people in harness racing who really care about their horses once they are not able to race/breed anymore. Those who don't carfe deserve their place in hell.

  • Trigger: Dougie, you're not boring, a touch naive at times i.e. the no show looney tunes  ngc3 but it gives you the cojones to be a risk taker too, hopeful winner!  Be rlevant to the discussion, don't plan your thoughts, a couple of bullet points and do it!  ;D

  • dougie: Maybe we can convince rainman2 to come on. He does know the game pretty well from all aspects of it.
