The only mistake the Mohawk driver colony could do that it hasn't thus far is not cheat, not race stage, drive clean, smart and give every live a horse a fair and aggressive drive. There's one mistake those cock suckers never make!
For what its worth, according to the nightly AGCO report...JMac has been called in to discuss his drive..but not until next Friday
Totally spot on! And golden boy James seems to be untouchable. Has he ever been handed a suspension? If Henry or McClure pulled that stunt last night no doubt they would be given days. James .nothing. total bullshit
The track, AGCO, JMac's "untouchable" and now look at this lame story finally published 8/9/25 214am.https://standardbredcanada.ca/news/8-9-25/sweet-lovin-lou-takes-dream-maker-title.html <---- They stuck in here. Made it a lame, generic, nothing to see here excerpt piece about it! "In The Spotlight N stole the spotlight from a pair of streaking stars for a 20-1 upset in this week's edition of the $36,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace, as Caviar N Crackers had her four-race win streak in the top distaff class snapped and reigning Horse of the Year Chantilly's 13-race career streak came to an end up against older rivals.Driven by J.R. Plante, In The Spotlight N made an early move at the :27 quarter to overtake the usual Preferred leavers, Grit N Grace (Jody Jamieson) and Glenboro (Travis Cullen). She was forced three-wide briefly in her charge to the top as Grit N Grace looped Glenboro, but pressed on to make front and held command through a :55.4 half and three-quarters in 1:23.1.Meanwhile, 1-5 favourite Chantilly (James MacDonald), who landed in fifth from the outside post seven, was shuffled to last as Caviar N Crackers (Ed Hensley) started first-up from sixth with early trailer Style For A Mile (Doug McNair) following suit.Grit N Grace reemerged from the pocket in pursuit of In The Spotlight N turning for home with Glenboro shooting through inside and Caviar N Crackers and Style For A Mile rallying outside down the stretch while Chantilly searched for racing room between rivals. It was a sprint to the finish with In The Spotlight N holding on for the 1:50.1 victory by a head over her fast-closing Dave Menary stablemate Style For A Mile. Caviar N Crackers finished right there in third, with Glenboro fourth. Chantilly squeezed through for fifth but caused interference to sixth-place finisher Grit N Grace while doing so prompting the racing officials to reverse the pair's order of finish.Stepping up to the Preferred level off a 1:49.2 career-best victory last week at Mohawk, In The Spotlight N improved to three-for-five this summer since arriving in Canada and joining the Menary stable for Pennsylvania's Pollack Racing, also owner of the runner-up Style For A Mile. The seven-year-old Bettors Delight-Goodlookingbabe mare now has six wins overall this year in 16 starts and 24 career victories with earnings topping the $350,000 mark."
And Waples who can never shut up and has something to say about everything must of been at the bar as that race went off as he no comment.
JMac had a piss poor steer for sure but..the bottom line is they should never have entered in that class, a qualifier would have been more than sufficient.. Millar and Gallucci are to blame for this decision when they for some reason put her in 2go on Tuesday.. I'm sure they regret it today..
Why should they regret it, Chantilly can run a 148. The horse didn't race she got stuffed in a pocket and never got out.I don't give 2 fucking shits about the lot of them if JMac remains on board.Chantilly didn't need urging she was ready to run over them in the stretch. She would of absolutely destroyed those horses, any one in disagreement is nuts!
obviously if JMac believed that he would have chosen to go first over-instead he buried her
JMac didn't run a legit race is what some of us are conveying here.
i get it--i agreeit was a suspicious spot to enter her in--and a fishy drive for surethey should band him from his precious PEI cards
Have any of you ever bet sports, racing with a bookmaker, ya know the mob?Ever been in a wire room where they take bets, have satellite dishes, you can bet in person, over the phone if they know you?For one they usually give track odds. There are instances when large bets come in on a horse and the book fixes the odds. This happens here in the US, Canada, and all over the world. You think what you see is all that goes on, yeh in the pari-mutual pool, the BOOK ain't that.Something happened and the look of the faces of the Millar bunch in the circle the next race, the 4th, they had no idea - baffled and shocked. Neither did Gallucci. McNair looked like he might of known. This was very likely a syndicate operation, maybe a big cash payoff, maybe a favor called in but JMac was influenced to stiff that horse and that is exactly what happened.
