Bitter Truth:

MLB changed the start time of the Indians/Tigers game because there is rain in the forecast later in the day, not because of OSU. As for attendance, who goes to the track anymore?

I guess you're right, though the short article on the ESPN sights that the change is also an advantage for fans, so they don't have to decide or change back and forth between games.

Some tracks show a decent attendance on big nights...but not as a whole.

A decent on-track attendance these days is 3,000.

You are absolutely right Bitter. People outside of Ohio don't realize how massive the Buckeyes are here. I had a couple visit us from Baltimore last year and my wife and I took them to our favorite watering hole here in Delaware. They asked me why all the M's has a red x of tape over them..and I said M is the first letter in Michigan they are all covered in a red X of tape. I told them they should see what it's like on campus.
Today is October 12, 2024 and it has been 1,777 days since Ohio State beat Michigan.

Northfield r4
300,000 2yr old cg trot Ohio Final

BIG money intriguing.

In this division, always a break or two waiting for one of the 8 new but tough young trot combatants here.

Very competitive event and while #2 and #7 LT  headline,
others in here with legit shot at serious dollars.

#5 Battle Hill 9-2 ml, Lems/Burkholder/Hartt
Clean trip keeps this one close
#6 Scrappy's Love 10-1 ml, Wilder. Gets Lasix tonight..def a consideration too.

#1 third at best
#2 Hilltop Sonar one of faves Page Burke
#3 What's Shakin Gillespie steed shot at underneaths
#4 Caviar Creek. Merriman has 'unders' look
#5 Battle Hill. Lems
#6 Scrappy's Love Wilder
#7 LT Loverboy  Every chance for B Miller
#8.Oso Fast: division winner last time, but lots to do out there tonight

Good luck all

My favorite OHSS o/u is how many times Merriman screws up a race by overdriving on the front end and backing up through everyone down the backside

Guy is usually clueless in big money races...especiall y when the big boys are in town.  Example is how he handled Clever Cody all year.  Horse has more talent than his lines show.

If being an 'Owner' means you have no choice of race, trainer or driver,
then more power to him. tmbz1

Can I assume there are no free online programs/PP options?

that’s how it is in many cases these days.

The times of solo ownership of high price horses is in the minority.

First Final.
The Stable had two make into the top 8.
Burke has two - the two favorites
