Toothman, there was some very good points made on this thread. Then comes the hate.....
There is no hate here Dougie just pure facts. I have nothing against black people but these black gangs that are ruining our city should be incarcerated. Same thing goes for the white/Mexican hoodlums and gangsters we should be able to walk freely in our cities without getting carjacked or robbed. Most won't admit to this nobody comes to Monticello because of the fear factor of the blacks that have taken over the village.

In my estimation this is exactly what happened to Monticello nothing against your people but they bought them (the blacks) here as domestic help and then they blew town to let goyim suffer the consequences. Incidentally I'm a huge supporter of Israel and their people they created a jewel in the desert the Palestinians created a sewer.

Look at the harness racing posts that are full of vile, nastiness, et al.

Now expand it further to the political world where nothing is off limits!

Unfortunately, this is the new horseplop 2024!

Get used to it!
You're calling pure facts vile? Get your head out of the program and start looking at the real world.

I agree, but only if you are speaking of the orange man Trump.
Please tell me what Harris has accomplished as vice president and I would also like to know of her policies. She was in charge of the borders  now look illegals have poured in by the millions.

Gaagoots, no offense taken. Thank you for your support of Israel. I was in Monticello last week Monday-Friday. We stayed at the Casino. Not many good choices around to stay. And you are correct about the crime. We went each day for breakfast at the Monticello Bagel Factory (I love their bagels) and sat outside. No one even gave us a cross look. The town is certainly "depressed". It's sad. And I've heard from the decent people who still live there that the crime issue is pretty bad. So it's a different place when the sun goes down. You know when I was a kid at the bungalow colony, all I saw were signs everywhere saying "Bring Casinos Now!". Many felt it would create new jobs, keep the bungalow colonies and hotels alive, and boost the purses at Monticello Raceway. I guess they waited over 40 years to get them to come. To little.....and way to late.

Foalin at 4.....until VP Harris actually holds a press conference, it's impossible to actually know what her opinions on policy actually are. She will eventually have to answer the tough questions on issues like the border and the economy.

Dougie, It’s very sad what has happened to Monticello, I hate to see it. I remember when Monticello had some promise and was thriving. It’s definitely not safe after dark.

Is there any place that has enjoyed a positive effect from casinos coming in? All the areas I have been familiar with before and after are at least as bad and most times a lot worse after the casino came in.

The west side of Columbus is another example. That hasn't been a good area for a while but it's gone even further downhill since the casino was built.

Fun fact-- 2024 Bipartisan border security bill was the strongest ever, but Trump told Congressional Republicans that he needed border issue as a major part of his campaign, so Congressional Republicans acted on his orders and squished it. Yeah, thats putting country first....

I agree toothman. I remember him quite well. My old friend Brad Sheiner (Rest In Peace), and I used to sit in this box seats with his son Andy. Lefty's had some great French onion soup!
