Aaron Merriman is awful

All I am saying is you could replace Merriman with 10 different people and get the same result.  He drives 4000 races a year one way.  Yes he has a talent, his work ethic.  It is hard work driving up and down the road like a crazy man every day.  You get Jeremy Smith, Dan Noble, Brett Miller, Ronnie Wrenn, or any other cowboy from Ohio and race 4000 times a yr and you will 100% get the same results.

This is pretty on point. He's no finesse driver but he puts in the hours and mileage, and probably as a result scores decent drives.

Imagine if someone like Palone logged the travel he does. It'd be no contest for wins/purses.

Aaron has no life.  He's a methodical robot.  Wake up 9am drive to meadows and drive all afternoon.  eat in the paddock.  Hop back in car drive to northfield drive all night.  get home midnight.  shower bang some track ho and sleep.  wake up repeat.  most top drivers have a family / a life / and don't wanna be in a car 4hrs a day.

I think Merriman is one of the hardest workers in this sport. I respect his amazing work ethic.

Most top drivers try to make a track ho into a housewife and then they both sleep around on each other so whats the point.
I know you will say so and so doesn't and this guy doesn't. But for the most part it happens. Like carnies.

Yes I agree with you and frankly I could care less how many track ho's he bangs.  I'm just saying I could get any one of ten drivers in ohio that could do the same exact thing if they wanted to drive in a car 4hrs / day and eat like a slob and bang disease infested hoes from the backside.  He has a crazy work ethic but that's it!  He outworks the others and makes money.  He isn't a special talent as a driver.  If Dave Palone drove 4000 races a yr he would win 1500 every yr end of story.
