Hindsight being what it is when Trump closed the border to China the usual clamoring of the left came out right away racist, xenophobia, and whatever they shout. That worked but what if he had closed the border at that point to every nation. What we have seen taken place recently would he have been given any Credit? What is going on in Italy is dire and awful. You have elderly dying in much bigger numbers and while in the US you have a failed socialism experiment with people for some stupid reason buying up TP. People can judge Trump by his first real global crisis and it's not like a Chinese dictator that says close it down. Europe...especial ly Italy that was a epic failure.

I put on an order from a cruise line today.  I believe that Trump understands how to prop up the industries in trouble; and, when this virus gets under control - you better get outta the way when the market hits 'GO'.

Today's 1,000 point break add on late was most likely on Trump talk that this virus could be around to July or Aug.

The markets will come back after more pain but the Fed has added liquidity, cut rates, stimulus packages and talks of more stimulus by Schmurer, sounds like a airline bailout while Cruise liners probably the same. Consumers will go out and spend when time is right. I worry more so about small businesses and the restaurant business. They and their employees face tough times. Americans need to ban together then add friction to the divide.
