Most people who might read it died about 15 years ago......

point well taken.  over and over the casino/racinos - tracks are begged to modernize the sport.  surround the racing w/ incentivized reasons for new fans to follow the drivers - horses.  Sadly, that includes recognizing that old style, corny microphone antics are out of vogue.  Call the race w/ professionalism and sprinkle in some humor.  Not this long done, over the hill voicing

CHanges are coming. New announcer young guy will do it for half the price. Just what the new management want. Cost cutting.

Let's not just dump on Roger what about those overrated drivers Palone and Merriman. Oh sure they are top dog in their own back yard but when they race against the best they become as less than normal as the drivers they usually drive against.

Whoa, Ice-Ice-Baby  <>  stay on subject.  you're flipping the garbage disposal switch while the rest of us are still chewing the fat on old Rog - The Voiz

The Voice will negotiate, he'll take a cut in pay to keep the streak alive. He has to know the handwriting is on the wall, we can only hope he understands it's not personal. He can still save face if would just retire. Maybe go on a book signing tour of all the fairs in the country,

Roger or the Great Rajah as I call him, says he has had more women than Wilt Chamberlain

I guess when he says "First Up", he isn't talking about a horse in the race, rather a Hose in the Bush

He'll be at the county fairs hog calling, announcing the fair queens, tractor pulls and calling the pig races. Eating corn dogs, fried oreos and fried dough. Relating stories of a by gone era where he was a real announcer.

Ringo and Ms. Howard........... ..............tru ly made for each other............ ...............ab out the author........... ..........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-sj_LnMrj8
Just love doing the broadcast. Shuley, Chumlee, Paddock have gotten used to the holier than thou attitude. We only work on the show, because we get paid. Dealing with Ringo is a different story.
