He should be able to without fear of retribution. This is America where we are supposed tombe able to speak pur minds freely without consequence. But the liberals have made it so PC that if you speak your mind it is somehow an act of war or aggression. I read where McCain was pardoned for Treason, of course the fast response from the deflectors was their is no official record of a pardon. But there is no official record of anything the country deems covert and everything McCain was officially classified decades ago. He openely admitted giving information about his ship and crew to his captors. Was it deeper, we will likely never know the truth. The point is the guy is entitled to his opinion, and the presumption of recourse from a POW is neither the correct response nor the correct answer in keeping with the fundementals our forefathers sought.

To magnify John McCain's hardships is to diminish the same misery incurred by others interned under the same circumstances. McCain was a VERY BRAVE man as were the others who endured similar hardships.In the military, there is a standard for heroism, it is the CMH, not a shallow or self serving declaration by the media.
