We just passed (about 2 weeks ago) the 60th anniversary of Buddy Gilmour's horrible beat-down at the Island Inn (next to RR) PURPORTEDLY because Buddy wound up finishing 3rd. in one of the exotics (where he was meant to not show up) costing the "boys" $80,000. Ultimately Buddy was banned for 3 1/2 years.
