Mohawk Saturday
« on: October 18, 2025, 06:03:22 PM »
Race#1-#8 VANDIEMEN BLUECHIP 5-1 ML Picks up McNair tonight, came first up last start, wasn’t off by much. Expect McNair to blast, can be very dangerous in here off a pocket trip.

Race#2-#9 DEAD MANS CHAIN 9-2 ML Absolutely zero chance you get morning line in here with Dunn aboard. Watched his latest qualifier live, was very impressive and the trainer looked like a farmer in the bike, see if they race him with a purpose tonight.

Race#4-#2 MADDEN OAKS 5-2 ML Honestly I’d prefer it if he drew outside some, picks up Roy, will still blast, see how it shakes out.

Best of luck!  tmbz1

Hindsight not sure Louis was the best pick.  He got piked last night and seemed to really struggle to manage Madden Oaks tonight.  No doubt that horse is an absolute unit, has been driven to be hot and the half was in 56 but he was climbing all over Yannick until Louis was forced to pull.

It was almost like he was getting acclimated to the horse tonight, in spite of that I thought he ran a credible 4th.

I thought he raced quite well. First up, big back half was still grinding at the end, best for him if he can draw outside next week and blast.

Nice pic, and great odds and with odds like that you can be wrong a bit and still make money, and only one horse wired them anyway, PHH.
