Whoever is responsible for this fu mess needs to go............who oversees racing at The Meadows needs a good talking to..........surfa ce has been baaaaaaaaaaaad for years............ MSOA needs to step up NOW.............. ..
Just love doing the broadcast. Shuley, Chumlee, Paddock have gotten used to the holier than thou attitude. We only work on the show, because we get paid. Dealing with Ringo is a different story.

Sound like the horrible situation at Monticello some months back.

Just when you think horse ownership couldn't get any more difficult these geniuses decide to cancel the stakes. I'll add Penn as another 'never-invest another dime' state. Complete incompetence and no regard for the investor.

Here's an idea, lets take a week off while they run the little brown jug( keep in mind the Ohio tracks don't stop but a track in PA needs to shut down)
and while in the middle of the meet lets dig up the track etc, what could go wrong??
oops it rains and apparently the track was not resurfaced properly and now its quicksand
somebody needs to be fired

I had 1 in to qualify on Tuesday, but my trainer is hopping mad that it still hasn’t been corrected.  He said the race days lost will be made up, but someone needs to be held accountable for this calamity.  They shutdown for a week a few times a year to redo the track, but this is the 1st time something like this has happened in a long time.

Hopefully the track will have a solid surface over the weekend and they can race next week. Horseman can’t miss a day without losing there minds .

It is amazing in the summer 3 straight days can be cancelled. Do they allocate funds to properly maintain the track?

It's because they have the cheapest track man in the country. That track has had soft spots for years, they have raced around orange cones more than once. They haven't had a track man since Curly left. The situation isn't going to change.

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
