Trigger's Wagering Day 13 - Saturday, January 31, 2026

What is set in stone as far as handicapping goes is GP, Tampa and SA....Tampa has yet to put out Saturday entries despite this last Sunday this Friday's entries were up.  FAST & FIRM expected, but Florida will be cooler, Arcadia, CA home of Santa Anita will be 80's.

Despite it being a severe cold climate with many cancellations I've still downloaded the Withers (AQ) because it is a KYD prep race and their points / money counts toward that, along with GP's Holy Bully Stakes running Saturday too.

The Oaklawn Park $1,000,000 SW race has been rescheduled for next Saturday 2/7/26 and their whole card is weather cancelled for 1/31/26.

Awaiting Tampa entries...My avg situation session is just under $700, way above the avg $500 (50 sessions / $25k) and on not even as great a quality races as what's to come, nor followed horses, so budget is smaller going into this Saturday, @ $400.

Turns out AQ and OAK cancelled, and I narrowed it down to all 9 stakes races running at SA, GP and Tampa.

Right now for Friday's cards Tampa and GP are Fast & Firm, I think they'll hold up for FAST dirt, possibly FIRM, or GOOD on the turf.  Santa Anita should be beautiful, 80's, fast and firm.

GP and Tampa climate now and this weekend is going to be similar to the NE mild weather this last fall, keep that in mind.

Nine races I've studies between the 3 tracks with post times going from 2:15pm - 6:30pm EST tomorrow.

Working on my wagers now, planning on posting them before the races.
