Melander looks like he has Super Chapter right where he wants him and August 2 might not come soon enough, and Maryland is making up for lost time, lost ground, etc. Lucas Wallin's colt was the wise guy colt over the winter, and he still might be. Still has a ways to go, but has the talent. Pinske's colt was dominant and just seems to be getting better with each start. I am not completely sold yet, but Saturday night he showed a lot. Big mile. It's the next few weeks that separates the pretenders from the contenders.
