Bulldog Hanover Progeny RRRacing!!!
« on: June 27, 2025, 12:41:18 AM »
Found the big guy here:

https://www.seelsterfarms.com/bulldog-hanover

Lists of his progeny I pulled from here:

https://www.seelsterfarms.com/2025-yearlings
https://www.seelsterfarms.com/2024-yearlings
https://www.seelsterfarms.com/foals

Jack Darling paid $150k for one of his boy's progeny Saulsbrook Big Dog
https://harnesslink.com/canada/london-classic-sale-2024-live-streaming-results-and-updates/

Burke picked up his first foal out of the Seelster Farm's mare Deb, Dax Seelster with a 154 3/5 win...
https://standardbredcanada.ca/news/6-18-25/gaitway-farm-wednesday-two-year-old-qualifiers.html

Looking forward to see if his babies can run like daddy who went 6 starts for 4-1-0 and a 150 2/5 at 2yo!

You find any info of other progeny, their qualifiers, races, we're a bit late to the party but not that late...:)

If he passes half of his ability to his offspring, they will be great.

(Bulldog Hanover) Shadow Play – BJS Squall – Artsplace

Any fertile Artsplace mares still out there?

It's a $5000 stud fee to breed a mare to Shadow Play, maybe it's worth a try if it can still be done.  Blue Chip Farms recommends breeding to a Cam Fella mare too but that sounds even more difficult if not impossible based on that he passed 24 years ago, Artsplace 19 years ago.

A year ago or so there was a 2yr old Artsplace racing in Australia.  They can use frozen semen there I believe.

That's right, standardbreds semen can be frozen, thanks for the refresher.

Just for curiosity sake I googled taste of horse semen, of course reddit has a damn thread for everything.  Even Google AI has a description, wow, this world is wackadoo.

How much do you charge for retrieval, or is it your pleasure?   ngc3

Dax Seelster

Burke trained, Bradley Grant owned, driven by Timmy T.

Please watch qualifier from 30.50-32.50

This little Bulldog baby maybe already can go 150, and looks like one helluva a nice smooth ride!

so you have extrapolated a 54.4 mile at Gaitway into "ready to go a 150 mile" somehow?

The horse looked way restrained at the wire, the lines super tight, yet the strides were really long and extended, zero urging and on cruise control.

It's an ambitious statement (150) but the next qualifier or race should tell what a horse when healthy can do after back to back sessions based on time in between.

I'm not even applying the typical 3 seconds less variant the horse has in reserve after an excellent trained, then driven qualifier.

I've watched hundreds of thousands of races in my life, not always right, not the foremost expert, but I feel comfortable with my public opinion.

Don't forget the connections too.

I'm hanging my hopes on Dax Seelster as 2 yo colt of the year and the fucker has yet to have raced for a purse yet!

Otherwise, wow, thus far, Bulldog Hanover shot a bunch of turds out of his horse cock onto the track in real races.

Deleting horses from that virtual stable rapidly, these assholes can't even run straight.
