Pepsi North America Cup Draw set for Monday @ 5 p.m.

MILTON, June 8, 2025 – Woodbine Mohawk Park will host the post position draw for the 42nd Pepsi North America Cup 🏆 on Monday at 5 p.m.

All connections of the 10 qualified horses for the $1 million race are invited to attend the draw , which will be held on the main floor of the Grandstand. Food and drinks will be offered.

Media is also invited to attend and are asked to RSVP to Woodbine’s Communications team.

The draw will also be live streamed and broadcast through Woodbine Mohawk Park’s simulcast.

Elimination winners 🏆 Captain Optimistic, Lite Up The World and Louprint will draw for posts two through six , before the balance of the field draws for the remaining posts.

The field for the Pepsi North America Cup, which will be raced next Saturday (June 14) , is listed below in alphabetical order.

Expect an absolute smoke show out of there and wouldn’t be surprised to see a 53 half.  Someone who thinks they can win is going to get away mid-pack and no one will be sitting for long.  Sets up for a closer if you can find a path - wouldn’t have being 3rd over

My initial gut instinct without looking at a program for the race would be Captain Optimistic as the winner.. Good post draw and best driver. He should be able to work out a great trip.
