i agree with you , he drove that 2 yr old filly very well
i assume most gamblers know not to bet any significant $$ on 2 yr old trotting fillys making thier second lifetime start
really who cares what dave little has picked, his string on odds on favorites

Especially when they won leg 1 of the NJSS and have a spot locked up in the final. Point Being, YG does not drive the way you described in all 2yo races. He is mostly listed in the ones Burke and takter want raced on the front.

PS. Did he just drive Captain Optimistic to your liking?

sure, no problem, use him on your two year olds
i will stick with mcarthy brothers or scott zeron
however if i have a 3 yr old or older in a big race , no problem giving yannick a call, very good driver

I think this year James MacDonald has been establishing himself as the best driver in the sport. Not hard on a horse, shows up in the big races, not at all one dimensional, works out trips.....a real talent.

Better not make the race a mil or more.  He's 1 for 50 and the one he did win was against no other A driver!

James MacDonald is the best driver, if you want wins & to keep your horse going thru the year without getting lame.

I've known James for 25 years & he is the best guy you can have on your horse in Canada, bar none. Now he's international.
2 in the 2y.o sire stakes, other one needs another couple weeks
Best time of year watch the young horses racing for great money.

Got interfered with and spotted them a bunch of lengths.  That being said she still didn’t look sharp.  But I’d give one more start before passing judgment.  But I agree that Yannick gutted her in that start.

Yannick ripped the heart out of her and she was exhausted that race.  John Campbell always said you never want a filly to feel exhausted to early or you will ruin them.  They don't bounce back from something like that.  I wouldn't let him drive another horse for me if he did that to mine.
