Jason Grimson was DQ'ed from all racetracks around the world for a brawl in a bar with a fellow Trainer/driver. He was suspended for 12 months but took it to the Aussie courts and they overturned the idiots who gave the suspension.

It is run over 3200 meters (2 miles from a standing start). 1st mile from the stand in 1.59 and last mile in 1.57. A lot of tired horses at the finish but that fucker kept on going.
