1980, DuQuoin, Burgormeister.  Billy for Peter, not a lot of dry eyes in the barn. 3 heats that day, Final Score (Tommy) won the first heat, Burgormeister (WRH) won the second heat. Third heat Tommy made a break but WRH got the Win. Emotional day.

  • Trigger: I'm retracting...Gold en Tempo punched his derby ticket (60 points), Ortiz hitting left and horse going sharp left is a bit change (see Sierra Leone).  Horse lost by 1 and lost shit tons w/ diagonol move.  I'm loading up on him in pool 6!

  • Bitter Truth: That Golden Tempo , I'm afraid is  a money burner. Gets so far back. Was in range but just hung and raced even in the stretch. Didn't see a Derby winner in there in my opinion.

  • dougie: He got good tactical speed. I really thpught he had a big shot to pull it off.

  • Trigger: If Pavlovian can rate a bit, maybe he wins the derby.  Nice horse  tmbz1

  • Trigger: I thought BT & I had a real good shot w/ a 110 4/5, wide but nice momentum, and then a sharp left turn mid stretch ended that  ngc3
