His drive of Treacherous Dragon in the 7th tonight at the Meadowlands made it look like he didn’t know how to drive on a mile track.

All the drivers are only as good as the power they are sitting behind. He will get all the power in the big races and have a big season. He is no different than Tetrick, Gingras, Todd McCarthy or Dave Miller. Whichever driver has the power wins the race.

I am not sure that not having enough power led to that debacle.

There is something wrong with him this year that might go beyond racing?  He should get a lot of weeks suspension for that horrific move that could have resulted in tragedy!

I posted a comment about Dexter, a few weeks ago, and I got roasted!!  It was about the undefeated 2 YO Rollin Rosie!!  They brought him in, on ISS Super night and put him on her!  Jordan Ross had driven her superbly and won 4 or 5 in a row, Trace was committed to Erv at the time, and Jordan was winning without breaking a sweat!  I know there is no comparison in skill. However, On a cold and windy night, from the 8 hole Dexter parks the horse to a scorching 53.4!!  She, needless to say, came up empty in the stretch!! A normal decent drive and she jogs!! I thought that drive was very poor for that important of a race!! The problem with these big time drivers, that really aren't familiar with a horse, is they think every horse they steer is push button and can drive any way they want, and still win!!  A little more patience is what is needed with old Dex!!

What constitutes the leading driver? Obviously money won, since the game is about CASH and CASH only. Dunn the leading money won driver by far when adding 2020,2021 and 2022 together.  Off to a "slow" start in 2023 he is a million behind Tetrick and 2 million behind Gingras thus far.

Bottom line....he will reel both of them in over the second half of 2023 and be the money leader again this year. Completely schooled Tetrick off the gate in the Graduate last night and hung him to dry.

  • rainman2: yes---as i said earlier  more important things than political differences.  betting and owning horses among other things.  many other people in the world have gone through the same exact thing.  people have to learn from these experiences instead of harboring ill-will from them.  The world is screwed up because of thes things.
