Was a knock around guy and small time owner/$2 bettor who was a fixture at the Chicago tracks for 50 years. He brought a brown paper bag with a bologna sammich and a baggie of generic dorito's with him because he didn't want to pay $3.75 for an Italian sausage at Sportsmans park.
Big rumor was he was caught with Scott Earache over by Anderson's barn J at Spk in an empty stall playing Deliverance.  . I didn't think Earache was a poofty but Al was a twink I think.
