Anyone know why they canceled?  They should just close it down for good.

Assume it is power issues.  Many folks still without electricity after Weds night blast.  We were out for 36 hours.

whats a little food poisioning any how. a few days off from work to bet from home. back in action today. swept floor of clubhouse on the off day. rumor has it next week the mens room will be cleaned. a new trash bag is on order for one trash can. new tvs next. getting ready to bid for next years crown. eye in the sky johnson sitting in the booth soon.

on a side note i did also hear scarborough is thinking about having a rolling pick 3 like the mighty m. i guess its is a bet that is seeing big play on every card.

State law provides that a person that facilitates an advance deposit wagering account on behalf of a resident of this State or accepts wagers on horse races from a resident of this State without a license is guilty of unlawful gambling under Title 17-A, chapter 39. The law further provides that the Gambling Control Board shall develop a request for proposals for the purpose of awarding one bidder the privilege to be licensed to conduct advance deposit wagering. The process of selecting a licensee to conduct advanced deposit wagering is underway. At this point there are no entities licensed in the State of Maine to conduct advanced deposit wagering.
