Always a great day of racing but i enjoyed it more when Elmira was open. Pretty weak fields this year, noo ffa or gold events etc... seems different for sure.

i saw Jody sit the pocket in race 1 as the 2:5 chalk.... he broke before the 3/8

my initial inclination is to blame L Roy as he has no idea how to drive other than firing Moreau horses to the front and hanging on for dear life
he could have taken a tuck into the 3 hole and gotten a cheque but that would require some awareness and skill
however i must admit when i watch the replay it almost looks like jmac comes off the rail  and hooks wheels, although honestly from the angle it is too hard to tell and that seems almost incomprehensible to me since j mac would have known that Roy was done outside of him
 and the red seas part for chody , gift wrapped victory
