i rarely bet win/place
its too tough to make a profit
even if you do long term its too slim after the takeout

thats why multiraces kick ass
takeout is only calculated once
only way to grind out a profit but with a lot more variance

anyway heres my p4 ticket tonight:
$1.00 PK4 3-5,7/2,3/6,9/4,7,8 $48.00

Makes sense. I always play p4 and 5 with a few price horses. I agree regardless of take out if you can mix a horse or 2 at a price in with logical contenders that's where the payoff is. I only play wp on horses that I really like. Then, it's just nice to be paid.

  • MTP1972: He wins alot of big races but I don't care for his driving style of always coming from behind, If you recall he won the Hambo a few years ago from pp10 from last by never leaving the rail. When he drives at Yonkers in the winter he doesn't do very well because his passive driving style doesn't work there.
