Maybe the Oneida Indian Nation could take it over to save it.  They run the nearby casino and try to attract visitors from near and far.  They promise a good vacation, not just gambling at the casino, but golf, Wine tours, other attractions.  Maybe they could use the track to market additional options for visitors.  There may be legal impediments but politicians could make it work to save the business.
