Sport fans are goofy ,my daughter and husband own Knicks season tickets they are selling them and clearing huge profits
I did that in the late 90's with Heat Season tix.
My ex-wife had a car accident and got temp handicap status.
So we bought out the handicap seats which are awesome and sold the best tix of ours for those games we replaced.
When we first bought the season tix for 3 for the following year, the Heat broker invited us to a Bulls playoff game (previous year). Heat was a 16th seed Bulls 1st. Still though...he said he wasn't able to get the tix, then said he got us in a box.
Pretty good joke, that was awesome...servers, fully catered, booze!
