So many tracks no betting pools
« on: May 11, 2026, 12:24:38 PM »
I remember growing up how during the week tracks would run and pools were large. Laurel is crap now.....now Santa Anita 3x week..used to be 5x. Even Gulfstream has reduced rscing dates in 2026. Pretty soon...it will be churchill....keen eland...Belmont Saratoga. Foals ate down 40 percent since 2011...sad for sure.

The number of households that have "disposable income has dwindled significantly through the years. The families money manager (Mr.or Mrs) no longer possess the ability to maintain a "secret stash of cash for personal habits IMO.
