Belmont at the "Big A" starting Thursday!
« on: September 09, 2025, 11:45:09 AM »
Autumn is coming and it's back to the "Big A" for the Fall/Winter meet. The last one in the track's storied history, as they move to year-round (Except the summer Spa meet) at Belmont all year round. While the best jocks move their tack to Gulfstream Park, there's and strong and hungry jockey colony left to make the action profitable. Let's bring it on!

I remember being at Belmont in the fall years ago and it was freezing up in that grandstand. The wind blew right through.

  • Sweet: The fact of the matter is the win pool on Beau Jangles was I believe a negative pool,  his real odds not 1/9 but 1/99.  Enough already, we're the real patrons of thius F'ing sport, many of us also care for these animals despite the best don't want drugs and whipping, abuse.  Competition yes!

  • Lockedin with Pace: Robust Hanover was a very small horse driven by William O'Donnell. In fact the late Stan Bergstein used to refer to him as the "little peanut".
