These are all live horse they just don't pull.

What can you do.

I think I'll stick to t-breds

80/20 budget that way.

Thanks JT for the cheers, regardless!   tmbz1
Tough beat man..You'll turn it around.. I only started betting t-breds a handful of years ago. I grew up in harness racing. My family owned and raced them for years. I prefer to watch harness racing. The LBJ is only 5 minutes from my house lol. . But for me, and the way I bet... runners are much better and it's not even close. I very rarely play Pick 5's for harness, except for Mohawk because of the guaranteed pools. Other tracks the pools are way to small. At a t-bred track on a pick 6, I don't care if it was 6 favorites coming in, the will pays would never be that low. Like you said not worth it. Harness for me is pretty much exclusively tri's and supers. I look for a big score.. trying to nickel and dime them to death just doesn't work..believe me I've tried.lol. Your systems are fine, don't second guess yourself during a cold streak. The last 2 or 3 weeks for me was brutal except the last couple days. It ebbs and flows you know that. Each day is a new opportunity. Keep on firing it in there tmbz1

I appreciate it, heck it's why we discuss it, to rationalize, and make adjustments wherever and however.

That's an awesome background, my grandfather took me to the track was so much fun.  Getting older I hung out, played cards occasionally socialized with drivers, even jockeys but mostly hardcore gamblers.  Back then scores were nice but action was crucial, that and drugs, alcohol, chicks, lol and more gambling, all the time.

The first several races on the LBJ on Friday 9/19/24 I was cold as ice, then I caught a pattern of horses that were coming from fair tracks, and went on to win consecutive races until the end:

  Delaware County Fair (H)

2,972.50 won  1,976.50  profit   198.44% roi  996.00    total wagered

I'm taking off tomorrow so I can do what I planned, start getting ahead so I can get back to studying each type of race I like, typically stakes, for 2 hours or so.  Rest a lot too!

You're doing great, don't worry I'm fine, not betting over my head, and I'll drop the budget to nothing to force handicapping winners and starting betting cold numbers if need be.   ;D
