Driver delta-top guys vs next tier
« on: May 18, 2025, 07:45:19 PM »
I say not much, to me the 2nd tier guys are just as talented but don’t have the same connections or opportunity to drive the best ones.
Example, guys like Luna, Beckwith, mark macdonald, trace and many others would do just as good if driving similar stock horses.
Tell me I’m nuts but it’s my opinion.

Have to disagree, the 2nd tier drivers are just that because the top tier drivers are more talented. The top tier drivers had to work their way up, nothing was handed to them. The 2nd tier drivers drive where they do because it gives them a better chance to make money which is the bottom line. In my opinion if the 2nd tier drivers drove the same horses the top tier drivers do, they wouldn't be as successful because the other drivers have more natural talent.
