REFUSAL TO COOPERATE WITH AUTHORITIES DURING AN INVESTIGATION
Trainer Israel Estrada is hereby issued a full indefinite suspension of his New Jersey
Racing Commission (NJRC) license effective December 27, 2024, and is also fined the sum of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars. On December 14, 2024, Mr. Estrada failed to cooperate with the instructions of the NJRC when he did not obey the instructions of a racing official. These actions by Mr. Estrada are in violation of various rules and regulations of the NJRC and considered to be conduct detrimental to the sport. Mr. Estrada will be eligible to have his NJRC license reinstated when he complies with the agreed upon conditions set forth in the Waiver of Judges hearing letter dated December 20, 2024. Mr. Estrada has waived his right to the Judges hearing and accepted the penalties issued in this ruling. Mr. Estrada`s actions are in direct violation of; N.J.A.C. 13:71-7.29(1) (13) (14)
N.J.A.C. 13:71-18.2(b)(c) N.J.A.C. 13:71-26.7 N.J.A.C. 13:71-1.19 The fine associated with this ruling must be received by the New Jersey Racing Commission not later than January 21, 2025.
