According to you and alot of others on here, everyone cheats and kills horses, if it's true then why do you even bother following harness racing, just to point fingers and complain?

Because I care about the well being of the animal. Do you realize how sick it is that these people kill horses to earn a living? Without horse racing, they would be out on the streets.

I hope that all of you get to own a horse one day with a trainer that does it right, if you haven’t already. They are amazing animals that deserve to be treated as such.

I agree it's sick to kill a horse or any animal and I am not defending the people who do. I had some opportunities in the past to be a partial owner of a couple of horses, but declined because I wouldn't have any say-so in anything other than paying the bills, so I declined. Most people who own horses lose money unless you get extremely lucky, so for me the risk wasn't worth the reward.

Understood. The best way to do it is find a friend already involved that you trust. Otherwise, these trainers/co-owners can bleed you dry.
