they need to stop watering  it down with a lot of tracks and soup it up sometimes less is more.
stop this day time racing. if people want regular day time jobs they can go get them. this is not a regular daytime job.
race at night and on the weekends at less tracks. maybe do double headers on weekends and holidays.
meadowlands
northfield
hoosier
figure something out in chicago
lexington can be seasonal stakes
the meadows
yonkers
race at only these tracks at night and weekends. bigger purses and pools. with a lil help cleaning up the riff raft.  these people are just like carnies.

We have no history any more. I don't think if Delvin walked thru the paddock at the Meadows, many people would know who he was and did. Same with Billy, Stanley, Herve, Insko and the the other past Super Stars. We also have no reverence for the horse. Look at Nicky boy and the rest of his crew did to those horses. Great publicity and the powers at be put their collective heads in the sand or up their asses. How many young people want to sit at a race track for 14 races with the drag, AND NO ACTION. Nothing to see in between races, listen to the announcers boring comments. These people are used to fast paced action not the 1940's  and 50's.

From an interview with John Campbell, in talking about the awareness, reach, etc., of the sport:

https://harnessracingupdate.com/2024/05/12/john-campbell-reveals-his-super-power/

“Also, just how popular The Meadowlands was during that period when you were out, away from the track in Bergen County. Everybody in Bergen County was aware of The Meadowlands at that time and would go, not regularly, but periodically. People away from the track were so aware of The Meadowlands and that’s not the case anymore in Bergen County.

“My oldest daughter, Lisa, when she started high school, pretty much everybody knew who I was. [My youngest daughter] Brittany is 11 years younger and when she started high school very few people knew who I was."
