Mohawk Monday
« on: January 29, 2024, 09:51:23 AM »
Race#3-#7 ISITFRIDAYYET 7-2 ML new barn off the claim, familiar surroundings, has been close but hasn’t got his pic taken since returning, due for a win.

Race#5-#3 SWEET DIESEL 15-1 ML Has done next to nothing since returning after being off forever.  Onnections drop him severely in price tonight, LPR choice to drive, needs to work out a trip but won’t be a mile back in here.

Race#6-#3 NASEY 9-2 ML ***BEST BET*** Was absolutely flying late last start, ran out of real estate. Odds will take a big dip tonight, hopefully he’s not bet off the board.

Race#11-#5 ONTOP RAINMAN 5-1 ML Should go off well above that assessment, horse has some talent, if driven to win, can beat these, more then enough speed to handle this bunch. Don’t bet Mike Whelan often but I will tonight.

Best of luck! tmbz1

More accurate ML should have been 4-1 5-1 …. 6/5 way overbet!!! I figured he’d go off around 4-1

The #2 breaking out of the gate may have thrown him off his "game plan" and the the horse was just flat from the top of the lane to the wire.

  • Calhoun: Thx I'm leaning to the 5 there.  Those CD/GP full field races look the best on the page. 1/2 length from being a G3 winner.
