YOU THOUGHT WRONG! IT WAS A DISASTER FROM THE ELIMS TO THE FINALS. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT CREW AND NOBDY KNEW THEIR ASS FROM A HOLE IN THE WALL. THEY WERE TRYING TO CHARGE HORSEMEN $60 FOR TICKETS.  WE ALL JUST LAUGHED AND THE FINAL THREE DAYS BEFORE THEY WERE GIVING AWAY THE TICKETS. THERE WAS MAYBE 400-500 PEOPLE THERE. YOU CAN'T RUN THESE RACES AT A PLACE LIKE HOOSIER.

despite thoughts on gural etc it just needs to be at the big m
hopefully they can put together a team to put on a great event for fans, horseman and owners
it is the mecca especially when all top drivers and horses are there

Mohawk deserves it every year

Yankee Stadium's presence to baseball is what the Meadowlands presence is to harness racing.  They are both meccas of their sports.

yes mohawk does a good job and is a decent facility but its in milton ontario canada
compared to new jersey just outside of new york
think big fellas or we will be racing for ribbons and blankets again  very soon

Mecca Delusional , living in the past when it 'WAS' the Mecca..Just another track now. Site of BC makes little difference, though Red Mile would be as good. Nothing in harness racing is that big a deal anymore and never will be again. Read 'em and weep.

perhaps  during the regular season it is nothing special
how can it be with so many stakes races going on at other tracks these days
they all have rich sires stakes, their own major stakes/grand circuit races
very hard to get best horses and drivers at big m on regular basis

however when it comes to major stakes races the big m is the place to have them

meadowlands pace, hambo, final four , breeders crown and more need to be at the big m and given the royal treatment, hopefully they can put on a good show

ohio, indiana, etc are nothing more than regional sires stakes, feeder tracks
