Offends me that YR names a series after the John Brennan. Why? Because he was one of the first tri state areas Covid victims? So what! I was on the backstretch at YR in those days in the 80s and 90 and here's what i saw - Brennan was an arrogant, dood to and for no one cheat who tubed everything, every race in his barn. In fact, in those day, Dr. Grasso lived in his barn. I mean if you were looking for Dr. Grasso, all you had to do was go to Brennan's barn and sure enough he was there. Sometimes he would even ride around the barn area with Grasso which was really obnoxious. I mean who the hell is he to walk into other trainer's barns while they are treating their horses, etc. I never walked into someone else's barn uninvited. Brennan was a fat slob who could not function when he arrived from Saratoga. Lo and behold he charms the divorce lawyer, Byron Lassin, to be his main owner and grasso shoves the tube with the milkshakes down their nose and he is a star. No need for a John Brennan memporial series in my humble opinion!

Banca has been a cheat his whole life going back to his association with Ross Croghan.

Lets not forget another prince, Rick Dane Jr.  He got time too, Just happens to be married to Banca's sister, Monica.
