Guy Gagnon's drive in second at Rideau Carlton is an embarrassment...I know nobody is watching and nobody cares, but this is  pathetic...

Off the ticket with 1-9 in the first race.

Okay my take

1) I have no idea if this guy can drive

2) For those who didn't watch the race - he left from the four hole, couldn't get close to the front (26.3) and tucked in 3rd... Sat till the backside going to 3/4 chased and horse barely would come out of the hole

3) Half in Half out around last turn -- Zero Pace being chased.

4) Last quarter in race was 32.0 and horse backed thru field

5) He was 1-9...... But didn't even have the most money to show. That was the winner who had $6 more dollars to show in what was very small pools.

6) My conclusion --- horse was a skunk this week.
--- why would you bet to win at 1-9 and you
could have gotten 1-9 playing to show
                              (but it didn't matter )
--- Gagnon could be horrible, but this wasn't on him

The race I referred to was the first where Gagnon had the 1-9 and was more an observation. I agree that horse was as flat as a pancake. The topic began with the second race drive I missed that race until the stretch drive.
