I'll say this again for 100th time. In early 1968,JOHN FRANK was in COLLEGE. He on DEAN'S LIST. He watches TV. VIET NAM was the first. I could see what happenin. Did not have to read NEWSPAPER. What I saw was: It TIME. BLACKS and WHITES fightin for us at home. JOHN FRANK said to himself. You ain't watchin no more. You gonna do your part. I dropped out of college on DEAN'S. Could have stayed in college till end of conflict. 2 months later I'JOHN FRANK ARMY be UNCLE SAM.
Never regreted it.

Happy Memorial day for the Americans. One of the coolest things i ever saw occurred about 10 years ago while on vacation to the states. A war veteran walked into a restaurant and told the guys up front he was hungry and had no money, everyone offered to buy him a meal but the guy working refused to take anyones money & instead brought the veteran out a smorgasboard of food and thanked him for his service

Soldiers are no longer Hero's.  They kill people and break things.  We need to break our dependence on the military and use the money wasted on them for Free College education and Free Health care for all. including immigrants.  One bomb costing millions of dollars can put dozens of people thru school earning degrees to build a new world that is based on Love
