Looks like Gertrude Devine in the picture! She ran a vet supply business on the street in back of the track and sold drugs to the horseman! Definitely the good old days!

Back in the days before breathalyzers fighting  behind the shipin barns,  and just pulling out on a horse next to. Getting
even with someone who parked you weeks before by cutting them down.Yes those  were the days, I remember the
old-timers sitting in the bar all-day right up to it was time to warm up there horses. I fact One driver going over to
the track slipped  on a icey sidewalk hit his head on died, or got hit by a tire iron who knows!!!
