Tonedeaf?
« on: February 22, 2023, 10:54:48 AM »
From The Voice

“Big night for Aaron Merriman and Bill Rhoades at MGM Northfield Park at one point they won five straight races on the card. Aaron won two other races to give him a total of seven. Be There!“

I’ve never seen a sport completely flat out ignore major infractions, appeal or not, and act like everything is ho-hum. I get that he still has a right to race due to appeal, but to “celebrate” his “big night”, is incredibly tone deaf. Roger and others that cover the sport surely can’t be that gullible.

In Rogers defense he's old and doesn't always pay attention

c'mon.  if you're in a position as spokesman/ambassador then show some common sense.  it really is past time for The Voice to enjoy visiting w/ past relationships, tell tall tales from days gone by and protect the legacy.

I mean you're probably right. But I feel like Roger is the type to die in harness as they say.

Rogers opinion of himself kills me. His Be there is so freakin annoying. I thought he retired already! Only problem is Jug Week because redfaced Settlemoire thinks hes Roger Huston. The way he announces makes me want to take an old metal bat right to his red face.

Roger has been embarrassing himself for a quite awhile now. Still thinks people like him! Spend 10 min with him and you'll understand, it's all about him.

Roger is a complete moron.  Who brags about someone with a meth positive pending?  Close the doors behind you!
