Can you say bend over and take it?
« on: January 20, 2024, 09:40:47 AM »
Dr. J Stallion Management in conjunction with Dana Parham of Odds On Racing is excited to announce an innovative and affordable way to buy shares in top performer and new 2024 stallion Carbine p.1:47.4 $334,229 (Somebeachsomewher e- Shot Togo Blue Chip).

• One share = 1/120th ownership of Carbine.

• Each shareholder (owner of one share) receives 1/120th of Carbine’s net earnings for the remainder of his racing career (retroactive to January 1,2024). The plan is to race Carbine as long as he is successful in upper conditioned races. Carbine has already earned over $27,000 this year, minus driver and trainer fees, each shareholder will have already earned about $200.00 minus expenses.

• Shareholders will be responsible for all racing associated expenses but in no event shall a shareholder owe money at the conclusion of a racing season. If Carbine doesn’t earn as much as his racing costs no money will be due.

• Race winnings to be distributed by January 15th of the following year.

• One share entitles the shareholder to 1 free breeding per year, breedings may be used, sold or pooled.

• Shareholders responsible for all expenses related to Carbine’s breeding career, including but not limited to advertising, staking and board.

The price per share is $4,000. This offer expires February 15,2024. If you have any questions, require more information or would like to purchase a share please contact Dr. Bridgette Jablonsky at drjablonsky@drjstallionmanagement.com or (717) 578-7395.

There valuing this rat at $480,000 by making shares $4000.  Then you all expenses out of earnings.  You won't see one dime.  I don't care if he makes 200K they wil eat up every penny.  How many suckers will go for this deal?

That means the horse would have to make $540,000 this year to breakeven. He made $136k last year as a 5 yo and $318k lifetime before Thurs. open win. If you want to say you own a very small piece of an open horse you would have to pay a big premium. The breeding share wouldn't interest me either even though he's out of the SBSW line.
