Pompano Race 6...not looking good
« on: February 27, 2020, 09:33:52 PM »
Hmm...nasty fall for one of the drivers.I don't want to speculate as to who it was.

They have turned to lights off at racetrack and r7 is delayed

Driver went down on home turn first time around. I saw him on track and not moving.
When the announcer said nothing and let the others race I was relieved as i figured he was up and out of there.

When the horses came back around they had one person waving the horses out and around him...he was still laying on same spot, same position.

Praying he is OK

TVG still has the replay available.

The spill he took was bad enough, as it looks like he hit the ground head first, but I think the trailing horse may have caused the most damage.

He’s in the hospital, and reports are that he is alert and just has a little back pain.
Appears ok otherwise.
