You think David Miller, Tetrick, and Svanstedt came back in the same helicopter/airplane? Do they chip in and charter, or does some rich owner transport each of them in their plane?cThey had to fly as it is 375 miles and if you leave the Meadows at 4 Pm and get back in time for a 6 PM race at the Meadowlands you are hustling!

Good question. If they are paying themselves and charter they can deduct it as an expense. If it is a private plane owned by a trainer I would think they would have to claim it if it was valued over a certain amount and part of thier employment. Complicated as they are probably considered self employed.  What do I know?  Idon't even do my own taxes. The CPA hands it to me and I sign not even looking at it and he E Files it or something. I could find myself in the same boat as Trump because I don't even review it..

Washington county airport 15 min from meadows racetrack.  Fly straight to  tetoburow  real close to big m track 10 min with out traffic  hour twenty min flight approx tops  if twin prop airplane   So plenty time to spare.   Doctor Macnamaria  I do believed used to fly drivers in past but not sure how he’s doing.    Went to Sweden with him and luc and had a blast when pk had enough talk    Still lot of work for drivers and give them props for driving and still being mental sharp in races.  Long days and nights

Top drivers generally get together and charter a plane when they go to stake races. Too risky using commercial airlines. A short delay can cause you to miss flight . And really when you think of the short time to order tickets and exact time they need to fly it is about same cost, sometimes cheaper. They then split the travel cost between the owners they drive for and bill it out. Most at the end of the month but Campbell was the worst he billed at end of year

Remember the 2011 Breeder's Crown when David Miller, Gingras, Takter, Tetrick, Brennan, and Trond Smashrammer got caught in a snowstorm in NJ and couldn't get to Woodbine for the finals ??

So cool. The boys flew back to the Meadows, drove in the matinee races and flew back to the Meadowlands for tonight's card.  They are logging frequent flying miles back and forth between Washington PA and East Rutherford NJ. Wonder if they flew back to the Meadows right after last night's races or flew out this morning?
