Buffalo again.  It would be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.  Shut it down.

Most horsemen would agree that the most consistent track surface for the pat 15 years has been at Vernon Downs............ ............fast miles ..horses staying sound..never a cancellation.     Closed for traing , when the master track man  says ..its closed till we get it right.  Many a visiting horsemen/driver has , early in the evening complained about too much water on the track....and hours later , are telling everybody how fast their horse went... Too much water on a track....Buddy Gilmour   several times said, when he heard of complaints.."You cannot put too much water on a track"

The guy in charge of the Vernon track works   many hours each day...to keep his track  "right"

Tony Rossi is his name.........Vern on horsemen speak highly of him !

He retires in 30 days............. ..............may be Yonkers should consider hiring him as a consultant...to oversee the track and put in the groundworks to eliminate all these  cancellations which really hurt the  owners , trainers  and drivers...and discourage the bettors from following Yonkers

What do you say Joe   ???????? you call the shots
