Just thought I'D say something here.
Over the years at ARLINGTON. Bad SPILLS.
Billy Downs. $20.00 say's jock dead. Billy took bet each time. I lost $180.00.
Spills ain't as bad as they seem.

When accidents happen at the rear of the pack, most drivers fall asleep back there. That horse went down a good 2 to 3 lengths ahead of the rear horses. Looked like they would have had time to get out of the way if they were paying attention. Hope all are OK!!!

Prayers to the legend Tony it looked like a hard fall and also to the other two guys Cole and whoever it was I can’t remember. I had bet the race and it took the cam off my lead horse and I forgot about my bet until after the race.

Update: Bret Brittingham has 2 broken wrists and surgery tomorrow. Tony Morgan and Mike Cole no major injuries and will be back driving soon. None of the horses involved sustained any major injuries.

Crazy risks for no pay...biggest driver to go down n doe has to be william haughton. Roosevelt had a few others.....small tracks not worth it.

Don't know the numbers, but I bet more drivers killed on the highway to or from the track then on the track. Peter Haughton, Glen Garnsey, Mike Bories, Terry Towne, ETC
Steve Harner, Bob Cotton.

Hal Belote. Also, David Banks paralyzed in race accident many years ago. Jack Parker Jr. somehow recovered from an awful spill at the Meadowlands in the 80's. IMHO, even riskier today with the use of more meds having the horse think it's pain-free while racing with issues.
