Naturally gifted. Tahnee camilleri
« on: March 24, 2024, 01:16:28 PM »
In USTA there’s big story about horse naturally gifted and Tahnee Camilleri.  Yet she forgets to shout out to her mentor and helper Monte Gelrod. For helping her pre race the horse. Why did she leave that part out ??

USTA jinx is the opposite of horseplop jinx.  Horseplop talks bad about a driver or horse and they immediately turn it around.  USTA does a puff piece and talks good about a horse...boom!  Dead fucking last!   ngc3

You are so right. Several years back usta had a big write up of an old guy winning lots of county fair races.  Sure enough , in a short time the positives started showing up.   Kiss of death….

I have no idea if Monte Gelrod has a license any longer, but this should not be like putting a man on the moon. I don't know what he does, what he sells, or anything, but this is just another issue of games going on at the farms. Both Gural and the State need more bodies at the farms. More cameras, more raids, more random inspections, more out of competition testing, more of everything. You race a horse at the Meadowlands, that horse is coming from a licensed, State governed, approved farm. Do something about it. Do a lot!

According to Pathway, Monte Gelrod is licensed until 03/31/2025

And now the cobalt positive as a t-bred trainer. There should be reciprocity on that. Licensed or not, whatever is going on at the farms needs to be handled.

That should surprise no one.
Why do the tracks keep requiring membership to race ??? Why do they keep paying their memberships ? Usta is   Just a bunch of cronies with the rich boy syndrome.

In NJ, is it still required as a trainer? It is not required as an owner, unless the rule changed (post 2022).
