Trevor Henry R1 ThursdayMohawk

Did anyone see Henry's drive on the favorite in the first race Thursday? Horse was 4-to-5, an absolute layover, had every chance to pull from fourth on the rail going toward the half, he stayed in. He even miraculously found clearance at the top of the stretch and STILL could have won but did not give an earnest stretch drive with any real attempt. The motivation appears to be to stay in the NW 1 class. Once again bettors get screwed. I was a serious player until about a year ago and I am hit with a reminder of why I am not willing to risk my hard earned money in the same manner I used to. What a disgrace of a drive and smack in the face to the public. Thanks for reminding me why I will not wager on this sport again in the same fashion as I used to.

Turned to my buddy as they crossed the finish line and said if I were a judge, that drive would warrant a 10 day suspension.
