Ronnie wouldn’t gas a horse. He is so much better at training a horse than anyone else in the world. Don’t need no gas. Lmaof

He was a $100,000 yearling purchase making his second parimutuel start. He had already trotted 1:54.4 in his first parimutuel start and had finished first in both of his qualifiers.

Thanks for the info. Not good to hear, this happened, but it does happen. Wonder if he was gassed up. But can happen whether gassed or not.

Ronnie is as sharp as they come huh? He’s batting under .190 at Hoosier with a million worth of horses and is NEVER here and has this heavy smoker AR training everything and this guy is lost. How sharpe is he? He better get to Hoosier and stop worrying about Emily’s comments so much cuz she’s right.

I am not sure if anyone was watching, this horse was *very* obviously lame in warmup. I actually thought (stupidly) the lag in getting to the gate was review of this horse and a late scratch, instead of the gambling lag. He tried to pull himself up upon making the lead and got laced for it. Wonder where the track vet was for that one. I understand lame doesn't equal heart attack but the horse was clearly not right.

Unbelievably poor show of horsemanship top to bottom.

Dont worry.
Same day PETA was busy in Calgary at the Stampede as officials were cleaning up an ill-fated chuckwagon race horse fatality

..got more press than BIG M for sure.

Unfortunate. Saw on local media yesterday more peta-sympathetic folks protesting at Saratoga Race Course than ever. Used to be one or 2; now a whole gaggle. Times they are a changin.
