When he made the second break at Northfield he put in one really bad step and I thought "Oh fuck no"!! This colt is just gorgeous the way he is put together!! It would be a real shame to lose him.NA Cup night he was second to only SBSW on post parade appearance....... that may change next year with that Captain Ahab colt of Myrons.....most impressive!!!!
Come with me to the "Darkside",its a matter of life or death!!

Captain Ahab is a very nice animal

racing against nothing in canada relative to what they paid

tony makes his horses look good then they have to look a real one in the eye
look at his horses at the red mile

i would be pissed if i was a local horseman there

Paid 100K
You dont need to beat much in canada to make money.
Horse is 4 for 4 36K and what more can you ask for with a young one pacing 51.1 in only 4 starts.
The proof will be that next step against grand circuit type horses.

For the money Alagna's owners pay for horses, as well as training bills, most come up short in the BIG races.

i agree

he spends waaaayyyyyyy too much on yearlings for how his horses perform

based on the amount he spends a year
they should have at least 2 or 3 of the top 10 horses on the top 10 society poll thing

thats not to say hes a bad trainer
just saying he spends a fuck ton of money

look at the amount of 30-90k yearluings vs 100k plus
seems as though the middling price yearlings do better IMO relative to the 6 digit horses
yes there are more of the middling pricers but i think the percentage of them that excel within their group is higher
